To be honest, I never really knew who Plastic Man was before Jeff told be about this comic. Now that I look into him, he’s probably my 2nd favorite DC hero (with Batman as the first). Probably no surprise that he was created by an entirely different group. I really hate DC. These comics were murder. But we made it to the final Watchmen comic anyway. Sorry it took so long. Combination of personal problems and a lack of drive to finish. Hopefully the next one wont be far off.

Yea well, lets see here. If you haven’t noticed, the about section has been updated a little bit. Added some pictures to go with our bios, if youre interested in that kind of shit. We also updated the RSS feed a while ago, so it’ll be a little easier to manage with whatever feed reader you use, as well as added the “share” button under Jeffs Pod in the sidebar. Now you can support us however you like! Digg, Facebook, whatever! Hell, you can even donate! That’s right, like every pathetic sap on the interwebs, we accept donations! You don’t have to, we really don’t expect it. But if you like the comic and want to help out, it should would help take care of hosting costs.
(If this all doesn’t strike you as some thinly veiled “support us, we would sure like the help”, then you’re a moron.)
In other news, Watchmen was amazing. I smell movie of the year! Ok well, maybe not… but nominee? Whoever was worried about the changing things can really go into the theater without worry. What is changed is changed only because it just doesn’t really work for a movie. Example: You can’t really go into the mind of Rorschachs psychiatrist within the span of this. It’s already 2 hours and 43 minutes, cmon! And there’s an extended edition waiting to be released. Billy Crudup was an amazing Dr. Manhattan, and for some reason seeing him up on the screen made him a lot more likeable. He’s already one of my favorite characters (only below Rorschach) so it was great to see him played by someone who knew what they were doing. Not that anyone was really bad… in fact Patrick Wilson was intense, Jackie Earle Haley was awesome (which is good news for him, ’cause if he screwed up, more fans would notice), Malin Akerman was sexy and great (she’s not related to Milo, right?), and Jeffery Dean Morgan was… well creepy. But in the best possible sense of the word. All-in-all, they did what they thought they had to for the transfer to the screen, and it was everything they needed. So much for the un-filmable comic!
Zack Snyder: 1 Watchmen:0 Alan Moore: disqualified.

So I’m going to college next year. This little long Island boy is moving on out to Coloradoto attend some fancy art schools. But that’s not what this is all about. No… this is about a never ending quest – to collect them all. That’s right, bitches. This is Pokemon.
If you hang around Jeff at all, you start to realize 70% of everything he says can be turned into some thinly veiled Pokemon reference. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it does start to get a little… weird. He can sing you the Pokemon theme, tell you amazing tricks in the gameboy games, astonishing show trivia, and he’ll blow you away just by knowing far more than the original 151. And for someone likeme, who was never that big into Pokemon… it was pretty insane. I know my 151, but beyond that is like asking a D&D player who manygirls numbers he has. It just ends in a horrible stumble of miss-matched awkward gibberish. but somehow, despite the overwhelming numbers of the damned thing, Jeff always makes it seem interesting. And by god if he didn’t make it even more interesting 2 days ago..
Flea market, right? Crappy clothes, crappy jewelry, crappy food, crappy games, and crappy baseball cards. Until you really look around at those things. One turn and here we are staring at the most amazing thing we’d seen in days: Pokemon starter Decks. The boxes are shiny, adorable with crazy leafy blobs we’d never heard of… it was like magic. But really, who plays this shit anymore? Well, we do. Or… now we do. Jeffs brilliant plan is to ressurrect pokemon cards as a valid way to pass the time and waste money. And after finally playing my first 2 games, I whole-heartedly agree. It’s bizzare to think of how fun the card game is. We’re actually going to be collecting these things more and more, battling between ourselves and Jordan (our new PR guy). 3’s all they needed in the show, right? We can make this happen.
Fuck Magic, fuck Yu-Gi-Oh… we have pokemon bitches. And we’re bringing it back.

Yea, we were there. Not doing anything for the site, just attending on Saturday. Quick run down:
So I went in at 4:30 in the morning. I stood in line at 6am to get a ticket to see Brian Michael Bendis, one of my heroes soley for the Ultimate Spiderman series (especially the run with Mark Bagley). Oh my god was it cold. Like, freezing! As in, my toes were not frozen numb… they were in a constant state of PAIN! But thats ok because I got the ticket and he signed my 1st volume of Ultimate Spiderman. Also had Bryan Lee O’Malley of Scott Pilgrim fame sign my Odds and Ends book. That was pretty cool. He’s a happy fellow. Also met Meredith Gran over at Octopus Pie which was really cool for me ’cause thats one of my favorite webcomics. We had a short (very short) conversation about brushes and inking. I’m so nervous talking to people I admire…
Anyway, about $200 worth of comics later, here I am with some kick-ass autographs that I couldn’t be happier with! And a nice Ayanami Rei statue which I may or may not stare at from time to time… But thats besides the point.
If you can, go next year. They always have a million awesome people there! It’s totally worth it. And if you want tickets for some big famous guy, show up early. They were really good to the fans, handed out tickets and let us into the convention center about 3 hours before the show to warm up. Great show, will continue to attend again.
PS. The Atari Ghostbusters game looks completely bitchin’. Sonic and the Black Knight… not so much.

Yes Robin, somone took an uzi to these farm animals… do you really feel it’s appropriate to joke about this? Do you?! Are you retarded or something?!
I mean, Hey! We’re back for a brand new year full of brand new… things! Shamefully, this is the first update of the new year, but don’t worry! Robotic Sheep is back in full swing. And what does that mean exactly?
- AT LEAST one update a week! Could be more, could be one. It’s a surprise every week!
- Improved art! or so I hope anyway…
- More random things! Nothings changed here.
So we hope you’ll stick around and see where we’re going with this. With potentially more than one update per week, I might reccommend signing up to the RSS feed, so it’ll let you know what’s going on here. Or you can surprise yourself everyday with a 50/50 shot of updates! It’s a blast, I swear.
Lastly, we will be attending New York ComicCon, just walking around being geeks and tryig to promote the site. Are you gonna be there? No way! Us too! I just said that… So scope us out, say hi, spread the word on Robotic Sheep, and we’ll all have a grand ‘ol time. COMICCON HO!
January 1st, 2009
Due to unforseen circumstances, Robotic Sheep will not be updating for a brief time. We are sorry if anyone is disappointed and were expecting new comics this week, but we’ll get back in time. For now, check the links sections to find much more amusing things on the web.
Thank you, and I apologize.

No, not really. But hey! Look a comic is up before the week ends, that’s good! And it looks better than all the rest! And it has weird dots? Uh… ok. Just trying some new stuff. Never sure what I’ll stay with, but everyone loves experimentation, right?!
So my tablet is fixed, but because it took so long, next weeks might be a little late too. But we’ll do our best. Beause we here at Robotic Sheep are all about getting people to love us! Yay!
By the way, anyone plan on going to New York ComicCon?
November 28th, 2008
-What’s this? A 2nd update this week?! Yea… it’s just filler for the holiday though. Sorry! Maybe eventually we can get 2 up per week… but it’s not helping that-
-My Wacom tablet seems to be… not working. Luckily I ink by hand, but the coloring is going to be a butt now. So, we’ll see how things play out. Maybe I’ll do some black and white strips after the last Doc Ock page. That could be cool.
-Next weeks update will be a little later in the week.. maybe thursday or friday.
And well that’s about it really. Nothing major. Time to eat some left over pie!
October 28th, 2008
Ok, ya know.. let’s try to make that the last farm joke here (totally not gonna happen). Welcome to RoboticSheep.com! We do comics! On the web! Neat! We hope you like it here and decide to stick around. We’ll update sporadically for a while, but eventually we might get some kind of schedule down. For now… surprises are nice, am I right? No? Well then don’t bother looking here!
Enjoy the comic everybody!
-Joe
